Maxine Flack focuses on writing shorter fiction and poems.  Having been very involved in spoken-word poetry, she is always aware of the relationship she has to her audience/reader. Her recent series of stories told via letters (all written on hotel stationary) document a world of people in transit who try to maintain a relationship with people affected by the transitions.

She is currently working on a book of these letters, stories, and poems.
